During class yesterday, we saw the snow and got to go home early. Fresh bread was baked, a walk completed to the neighbors in the falling snow and back, and soup and chili eaten.
Today, we woke up and built a snowman and had snowball fights. Hot chocolate was drunk and school was attempted (it’s hard to stay on track when it’s a winter wonderland outside). This afternoon we went sledding with some friends in the sunset and twilight for nearly three hours. We found a steep hill in the neighborhood and went soaring with the street lights illuminating our way.
Here in Tennessee we don’t get snow all the time, but when we do it’s an adventure.
