“You can love someone so much…But you can never love people as much as you can miss them (J.G.)”

I’m remembering summer today: memories of standing on city streets with tired feet but the happiest feeling that’s ever been inside me, the moment when we were reunited with kids we hadn’t seen in a year but they remembered us, the night we went downtown and found the perfect Gaufre, the afternoon of my favorite day of living when we found the perfect sailboat, nights on the beach where we sang worship as the sky faded, and the last night where we had a bonfire and then let lanterns go before staying up all night talking in a coffee shop. My heart that is a pile of kindle easily lit to memories like these.
